Photos from our Priesthood Ordinations

Saturday, June 8, 2013 marked a momentous occasion for the Midwest Augustinians, as Bishop Dan Turley, O.S.A. ordained Robert Basler, O.S.A. and Homero Sanchez, O.S.A. to the priesthood.  These were the first Augustinian priesthood ordinations in the Midwest for the past 15 years!  It is certainly a sign of new hope for our Order!

Please pray for their ministries, as Fr. Robert Basler, O.S.A. is to be assigned at St. Turibius Parish in Chicago and Fr. Homero Sanchez, O.S.A. is to be assigned at St. Jude Parish in New Lenox, Illinois (Diocese of Joliet), both beginning on July 1, 2013.

Please see our Photo Galleries to see photos of the Ordinations or click on any of the four galleries below, and each of the new priest's first Masses as the principal celebrant.  Also check back later this month to view a video recap on the Ordinations.
