Ideas to Celebrate World Day of Consecrated Life

World Day of Consecrated Life

This past Monday, February 2, 2015, the global Catholic Church celebrated the World Day for Consecrated Life.  This is a day of special celebration and prayer by the universal Church for men and women who have consecrated their lives to God.  In the United States, observance of this Day is transferred to the week-end of February 7-8, to facilitate celebration of the gift of consecrated life by the whole Church.

Augustinian parishes are encouraged to include World Day of Consecrated Life in their liturgies and bulletins this coming weekend.  Augustinian schools are encouraged to include World Day of Consecrated Life in their school prayers and announcements some time during this week.
