Province Volunteers and Friars Take to the Phones to Say "Thank You" To Our Donors

Recently a team of thirteen volunteers, staff, and professed Augustinians took on a "thank you" calls project.  The calls, made to over 700 donors to the Augustinians of the past year, were done to extend a heartfelt thank you for their generosity, to wish each person the best of the Advent and Christmas Seasons, to answer any questions, and to encourage prayer intentions.  Over 700 calls were made which resulted in at least 213 actual phone conversations, hundreds of nice voice mails, and, as you might expect, the correction of some outdated phone numbers.  The Augustinians plan to do this twice a year. It is part of the Augustinians commitment to build strong relationships based on shared values, respect, and gratitude.  In general, our callers found their experiences to be quite rewarding.

Many thanks to our callers:  Norma Berman, Don Berschback, Michael Gerrity, Fr. Jim Halstead, O.S.A., Catharine Hennessy, Ed Hennessy, Br. Sam Joutras, O.S.A., Fr. Richie Mercado, O.S.A.,  Adriana Moreno, Fr. Tony Pizzo, O.S.A., Br. Spencer Thomas, O.S.A., Rob Utter, and Marty Wojcik.  For more information, or if you wish to help reach out, please call Michael Gerrity at 773-595-4035 or email mikewger@gmail.com.
