Prior Provincial Fr. Tony Pizzo Leads 16th Annual Posada of the Archdiocese of Chicago

On Friday, December 17, Prior Provincial Fr. Tony Pizzo, O.S.A. offered welcoming remarks at the Archdiocese of Chicago’s 16th Annual Posada for Immigration Reform. The processional celebration, which reenacts Mary and Joseph’s search for shelter for the birth of Christ, started at 101 West Congress Parkway, downtown Chicago, and continue its route to four “stations” around the Loop. Sponsored by the archdiocese’s Office of Human Dignity and Solidarity-Immigration Ministry, the posada serves as an occasion to reflect on our city’s willingness to provide shelter and care to immigrant and refugee populations.
