Austin Catholic Forensic Workshops
Every year since 2016, high school students from the Austin Catholic High School National Honor Society host Forensic Science Workshops for younger students. Middle schoolers from St. Lawrence Catholic School, local public schools, or homeschooled students attended to practice investigations like a crime scene investigator.
The two-hour workshop inspires students to be interested in the real-world application of science and math, through a series of experiments to solve a mystery. Over 100 students attended multiple sessions of the workshop and gained valuable experience while connecting with the older students.
