Brotherhood in Peru: Br. David Marshall at Vicariate of Chulucanas

Br. David's first stop in Peru was the theologate house in Trujillo, which is where the friars in formation live.

Br. David visited the new Fr. John McKniff Philanthropic Office of Development. This is a new initiative started by Fr. Richie Mercado and Spring Rain Global to help the Vicariate of Chulucanas raise funds for various projects. In this picture, Br. Roberto Ugaz is giving Br. David a tour of the offices.

Br. David has been helping with English classes in both the primary and secondary schools in Pacasmayo.

Br. David visits Morropon, where the Augustinians established their first community in the Vicariate.

“Día del Campesino” translates to “day of the farmer”. On this holiday, it is customary to dress up in ponchos, sombreros, and other farmers’ paraphernalia to honor Peru’s farming heritage.

Br. David has been touring the Vicariate with Fr. Eleodoro, Director of the Federation of the three Peruvian Vicariates. Here they are visiting Chulucanas.
