New Photo Gallery: Cardinal George Celebrates St. Rita Novena

On Thursday, October 3, Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I., the Archbishop of Chicago, celebrated a Novena Mass with the Augustinians at the St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel in Chicago.  The Novena Mass, in devotion to St. Rita, has been celebrated in perpetuity over 100 years. 

Also at the Mass, the Augustinians presented the Cardinal with a bust of St. Rita to congratulate him on his 50th anniversary of priesthood, which the Cardinal will mark in December, 2013.  Please visit either of our photo galleries below to see pictures.  Photo Gallery 1 includes photos from the Novena Mass.  Photo Gallery 2 includes photos of attendees greeting the Cardinal after Mass.
