Marked for Life: Jen Graves, Providence Catholic High School Alum

Jen Graves, Providence Catholic

My first exposure to the Augustinians was enrolling at Providence Catholic High School in the fall of 1996.  Above and beyond the normal high school experiences, I was blessed to have wonderful spiritual leaders, most notably, John Sosnowski and Fr. Merk. My high school experience culminated with a trip to Italy, both for World Youth Day 2000 in Rome and for other stops, including San Gimignano, Cascia, and Roccaporena. It was inspiring to hear so many people from around the world speak with such passion about Sts. Rita, Monica, and Augustine. After I graduated from college, I returned to Providence as a teacher and had the chance to attend an Augustinian Values Institute. The core values of unitas, veritas, and caritas are infused in every aspect of Providence. The simple fact that there are so many alumni working at Providence should be evidence enough that there are many of us who have been "marked for life!
