Employment Opportunities with the Midwest Augustinians' Advancement Office

It is with mixed emotions that the Augustinians announce that two members of our Advancement Team, Elizabeth Mazur and Patrick Murphy, will be moving on to other endeavors early in 2017.

Associate Director for the Annual Fund, Elizabeth Mazur, desires to work in ministry outside of fundraising.  She therefore is moving to a position of ministry in a parish in Chicago's western suburbs.  While with us, Elizabeth helped to implement a program of parish appeals and small group gatherings.  She also did good work with our grants efforts and galas.  She will leave by March 31, 2017, and therefore will see us through the main thrust of our fall annual appeal and preparation for the 2017 Gala.

Associate Director for Communications, Patrick Murphy, will be leaving us in January 2017 to become the Development Director for the George M. Pullman Educational Foundation in downtown Chicago.  He has come a long way from stuffing envelopes in the mission office seven years ago!  He has completed a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Management with a Concentration in Fundraising Management and earned his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential.  He has taken our newsletters and web presence to new heights, and he recently completed the Jubilee Book!  He was sought out by the Pullman Foundation, which awarded him scholarships to attend college and is also a cause dear to his heart.

We will begin a search to fill these positions (see descriptions by clicking the buttons below).  If you know of any interested and qualified candidates, please provide them the information in the links below and ask them to email Michael Gerrity at or call him at 773-595-4035.

For now, let us express our gratitude to Elizabeth and Patrick for their time with us, and wish them well in their endeavors.  We hope they will remain connected with us and attend our events in the future as they have been important members of our community!
