Rev. Robert Basler, OSA, announced last weekend that he has discerned to incardinate into the Diocese of Joliet. We are invited to accompany him through this prayerful discernment and we are grateful for his several years of pastoral service.
Rev. Raymond Flores, OSA, has accepted the invitation to take on the role as pastor at St. Jude Parish, New Lenox. He will begin his pastoral responsibilities in January of 2023. We are grateful to Ray for accepting this pastoral assignment.
Fr. Ray was ordained in 2005 as a member of the Diocese of Las Cruces, New Mexico. He entered the Augustinian novitiate in 2017. He professed simple vows in 2018. He professed solemn vows in 2021.
He was at St Rita High School in Fall 2018. He was at St Rita parish from Jan 2019 through summer 2021. He was at St. Clare of Montefalxo as director of prenovices for one year (2021-2022). And these past few months he was at Cascia Hall offering pastoral assistance.
