Groundbreaking Celebration in Edwardsburg, Michigan!

Our Lady of the Lake Parish is located in Edwardsburg in the Diocese of Kalamazoo, Michigan

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, a parish staffed by an Augustinian pastor in Edwardsburg of Southwestern Michigan, will host a groundbreaking for its church expansion and renovation project on Sunday, March 2. The celebration will include 10:30 Mass led by Most Reverend James Murray, retired bishop of Kalamazoo diocese, Rev. Robert Prevost, O.S.A., former Prior General and Very Rev. Bernard Scianna, O.S.A., Ph.D., Provincial. Following the Mass, a groundbreaking ceremony will take place with a reception in the Social Hall. The $2.2 million project will include an expanded worship environment to seat 450, a large gathering space, renovated offices, expanded parking and also improvements to the food pantry space in the lower level.  Pastor, Father Joe McCormick, O.S.A., says that the continuing growth of the parish community along with needed upgrades have prompted this major project.  For more information, please call 269-699-5870.
