Pope Francis Addresses Augustinian General Chapter 2013

On August 28, 2013, the Feast of St. Augustine, Augustinian leaders from around the world assembled in Rome to attend their General Chapter.  The General Chapter elects the new Augustinian leader for the following six years and sets the agenda for the Order's activities over that same time period.

Pope Francis celebrated the opening Mass for the Augustinians, where he encouraged the friars to continue having restless hearts and strive for community.  Watch the video now!
