Bringing the Augustinian mission to life at Providence Catholic High School: Truth, Unity, and Love

Providence Catholic High School students and staff took part in the first of several service days scheduled throughout the year. The group traveled to the Northern Illinois Food Bank in Joliet, IL, to assist in packaging food for those in need.

The Celtics hosted a Care-Kit Service Project. They received a large amount of products that were given and made into Care Kits. The kits were donated to a Women's Domestic Violence Center.

On 8th Grade Spirit Night at St. Joseph Grade School Manhattan, an opponent forfeited a basketball game due to a player shortage - and 10+ St. Joe's alumni stepped up to play against the boys so they could have their special moment as 8th graders. Several of the alumni are Celtics.

On World Kindness Day, Student Council hosted a table for students and staff to write kind notes to others at school to brighten their days.

Augustinian Youth Ministry (AYM) hosted a drive to collect much needed items for veterans, which were later distributed to local organizations that benefit those populations.

Providence Catholic soccer players spent time at a New Lenox Senior Center to play bingo with the residents - just one of the many service projects the soccer team is part of.
