You can now watch the beautiful 20-minute video biography on the life of Fr. Ted Tack, O.S.A., Prior General of the Augustinian Order; the video was created by the Cascia Hall community of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Last month, Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I., Archbishop of Chicago, offered an opening prayer to the 460 gathered to celebrate the Augustinian Inaugural Gala.  He briefly discussed his role in electing Pope Francis, Augustinian spirituality and ministry, and the Church in Latin America.  Check out this video to see an excerpt from this Invocation.

Sunday, April 21st is the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. We ask that you please continue to pray for people to respond to the call to discern religious life and ordained ministry.

Through the ages many followers of the Augustinian way of live have been declared Saint r Blessed.  These heroes of the Christian Faith are recognized for their lives of virtue and for their service to God and the Church.

The Midwest Augustinians are offering their vacation and retreat house on Baldwin Lake near Notre Dame to groups for Notre Dame's home weekends and other big campus events in 2013-2014.

Recently in the church of El Señor de los Milagros (Lord of Miracles) in Pacasmayo, we had the Confirmation of 17 special needs children.

Ted was truly a humble, warm, and generous human being. And the sense of loss we feel at losing someone we love, who has been called from this life, is deeply felt. But we come to acceptance, and even understanding through the eyes of faith.
