Milann H. Siegfried of Tulsa, Oklahoma is the volunteer Chair of the campaign for the Augustinians, Continuing Our Journey of Faith.  Mrs. Siegfried is no stranger to the Augustinians or to philanthropy. In addition to serving on the Board of Nordam Corporation, she is a Registered Nurse and community volunteer. She, and her late husband Ray, are Affiliates of the Augustinian Order.  Read more...

This morning at Franciscan Village of Lemont, Illinois, the Rev. Francis X. Lawlor, O.S.A. passed away following a long decline in health at the age of 95.  Father Lawlor, born in 1917, professed his first vows in the Augustinian Order in 1937 at the age of 19.  He served in parishes and schools in the dioceses of Chicago, St. Louis, Tulsa, and Rockford...

The Midwest Augustinians are pleased to announce our new perpetual enrollment card is now available.   All contributions made for perpetual enrollments in the name of a loved one will include them for all time in countless Masses, prayers and good works of the Augustinian priests, brothers, and men in formation.

Brother Joe Ruiz, O.S.A., one of the most recently professed Augustinians, shares his story on how he felt called to the Augustinian Order.  He briefly reflects on the life experiences and teachings that brought him to be the Augustinian brother he is today.

Father Jim Paradis, O.S.A., a friar of the Augustinians' Eastern Province headquartered in Villanova, Pennsylvania, will be appointed Director of Novices.  Father Paradis is expected to assume this post at the North American Augustinian Novitiate, Racine, Wisconsin, on December 1, 2013.

In honor of the 149 Midwest Augustinians that gave their lives in service, we are pleased to include a Province Necrology portion of our website.  The section includes biographical information on our dear Augustinians that were once our teachers, pastors, retreat leaders, friends, and so much more.

The Augustinians across the United States and Canada are happy to unveil the new vocations poster for 2013-2014 to be distributed at Augustinian schools, parishes, and vocations events.  The poster shows the 35 men in formation as well as their five recently ordained priests.

This August, the Augustinians welcomed Elizabeth Mazur as the Associate Director - Annual Fund for the Province of Our Mother of Good Counsel.  Click here to read about Elizabeth's background.

On Thursday, October 3, Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I., the Archbishop of Chicago, celebrated a Novena Mass with the Augustinians at the St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel in Chicago.  The Novena Mass, in devotion to St. Rita, has been celebrated in perpetuity over 100 years.
