Last year, Fr. Brian Barker, OSA, joined the Cascia Hall community in Tulsa after professing his first vows as an Augustinian.  Fr. On November 3, 2014, the Vatican announced that Pope Francis named the Most Reverend Robert F. Prevost, O.S.A., to be the fourth Bishop of Chiclayo, Peru.  Bishop-elect Prevost is scheduled to be ordained a bishop in Chiclayo, Peru, on December 12, 2014, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  This article is a description and explanation of his coat of arms.

On Saturday November 22, 2014 Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Edwardsburg, Michigan celebrated the dedication of its new church with close to 400 parishioners in attendance. See photos from the dedication Mass here.

G.T. Bynum, Tulsa City Councilor, was recently appointed to serve a two-year term on the Augustinian Advancement Advisory Council.  The Very Rev. Bernard C. Scianna, O.S.A., Ph.D., who is the Augustinians’ Prior Provincial and former Headmaster of Cascia Hall, appointed Bynum to serve on the council.
