Announcing Two New Augustinian Affiliates
Following recent announcements over the past few weeks, the Augustinians are pleased to announce that 2 more laypeople from Delta, British Columbia, Canada (near Vancouver), will join 17 others in being named Affiliates of the Augustinian Order. Affiliation is the highest honor that the Augustinian Order can bestow upon an individual. Read more about who they are here:
Bells Across the Land: 150th Anniversary of End to Civil War
Today is the 150th anniversary of the end of the U.S. Civil War, the country's bloodiest war. Churches and schools with bells are invited to join a nation-wide observance of the war's end by ringing their bells at 2:15 p.m. Central Daylight Time. Learn more here.

Augustinians Announce New Online Vocations Efforts
The Augustinians of North America are pleased to announce a new initiative to engage men discerning a religious vocation. They do so by hiring Patrick T. Murphy to renovate the Augustinians’ vocations website, social networks, and other digital media.

New Director of Augustinian Mission at St. Rita High School
The Augustinians are happy to announce that Father Steve M. Curry, O.S.A., Ed.D., will serve as the Director of Augustinian Mission at St. Rita of Cascia High School in Chicago. St. Rita of Cascia High School is a Catholic college preparatory school for young men, rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the tradition of St. Augustine, following the Augustinian philosophy of education. Father Christopher Steinle, O.S.A., Assigned to Ecuadorian Missions
Father Christopher C. Steinle, O.S.A., recently returned to Latin America in his new ministry as an Augustinian missionary to the Province of St. Michael, headquartered in Quito, Ecuador. Father Steinle began this service in February following several years of ministry for the domestic needs of the Midwest Augustinians’ Province.
