Father Christopher Steinle, O.S.A., Assigned to Ecuadorian Missions
Father Christopher C. Steinle, O.S.A., recently returned to Latin America in his new ministry as an Augustinian missionary to the Province of St. Michael, headquartered in Quito, Ecuador. Father Steinle began this service in February following several years of ministry for the domestic needs of the Midwest Augustinians’ Province.

Augustinians Honor 17 with Highest Honor
Following recent announcements over the past few weeks, the Augustinians are pleased to announce that 3 more laypeople from Tulsa, Oklahoma, will join 14 others in being named Affiliates of the Augustinian Order. Canadian Augustinians to Honor 6 Laypeople

Ted C. Berman Joins Augustinian Advancement Council
Ted C. Berman, Founder/Owner of Berman Capital Management & Research, was recently appointed to serve a two-year term on the Augustinian Advancement Advisory Council. The Very Rev. Bernard C. Scianna, O.S.A., Ph.D., who is the Augustinians’ Prior Provincial, appointed Berman to serve on this voluntary council to help the advancement and communications efforts of the religious order. Pope Francis has announced that the first "International Day of Prayer and Awareness against Human Trafficking" will be celebrated in all dioceses and parishes in the world, in the groups and schools on February 8, 2015, the Feast Day of Josephine Bakhita, a Sudanese slave, freed, who became a Canossian nun, and was declared a Saint in 2000.
