In this time of widespread concern over the rapid spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19, we as an Order must make extra-ordinary efforts to care for our flock. For this reason, the Midwest Augustinian Province leadership have decided it prudent to cancel our annual Augustinian Gala, which was scheduled to be held on Friday, April 24, at the Drake Hotel in Chicago.

On February 21, Prior Provincial Fr. Tony Pizzo and the Augustinian Community of St. Rita Parish in Chicago brought together leaders of various faith communities for a press conference to spread a message of hope and solidarity with immigrant families.

Effective July 1, 2020 St. Clare of Montefalco will become part of the Augustinian parish of St. Rita of Cascia and will operate as a chapel of St. Rita Parish.

MLK Day is a day meant to remember and re-member. 

Recently a team of thirteen volunteers, staff, and professed Augustinians took on a "thank you" calls project.  The calls, made to over 700 donors to the Augustinians of the past year, were done to extend a heartfelt thank you for their generosity, to wish each person the best of the Advent and Christmas Seasons, to answer any questions, and to encourage prayer intentions.
