There is no access to hospitals within the three provinces; there are communities that do not receive radio transmissions or broadcasts and remain isolated and cut off from any information. Recently, this situation has become even more concerning as we are being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the Prelature is focused on finding the greater good of the community.

Considering the present gathering restrictions still in place, Province leadership decided, together with Br. Jack, that it is best that his ordination be rescheduled to a future date.

For this reason, the Midwest Augustinian Province leadership have decided it prudent to cancel our annual Augustinian Gala, which was scheduled to be held on Friday, April 24, at the Drake Hotel in Chicago.

Effective July 1, 2020 St. Clare of Montefalco will become part of the Augustinian parish of St. Rita of Cascia and will operate as a chapel of St. Rita Parish.
